AMFORAL FOR DOGS

Amforal is a medication that is used in dogs to treat bacterial enteritis, which basically means a number of bacterial infections that irritate the bowels of the dog and cause diarrhea in dogs.

You give it to the dog orally, either in a tablet form or as a liquid. It's effective at killing E. coli, salmonella, Coccidia (pronounciation: kok-sid’-i-uh, genus: Isospora) and several other common bacteria that can cause diarrhea.

Your vet will need to diagnose the dog to use this, as they have to make sure exactly what kind of bacteria is causing the digestive problems.

ANTIBIOTICS THAT YOU MUST HAVE A PERSCRIPTION FOR,
CAN BE FOUND IN THE FISH WORLD!
NO PERSCRIPTION NEEDED!!!

Fish Cillin, 250 mg Ampicillin x 100 Capsules.
Ampicillin

Belonging to the penicillin group of beta-lactam antibiotics, ampicillin is able to penetrate Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria. It differs from penicillin only by the presence of an amino group. That amino group helps the drug penetrate the outer membrane of gram-negative bacteria.
Ampicillin acts as a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme transpeptidase. Transpeptidase is needed by bacteria to make their cell walls. It inhibits the third and final stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis, which ultimately leads to cell lysis.

Fish Mox, 250 mg Amoxicillin, 100 Capsules,

DRUG CLASS AND MECHANISM: Amoxicillin belongs to a class of antibiotics called penicillin. Other members of this class include ampicillin (Unasyn)

They do not kill bacteria, but they stop bacteria from multiplying by preventing bacteria from forming the walls that surround them.

The walls are necessary to protect bacteria from their environment and to keep the contents of the bacterial cell together. Bacteria cannot survive without a cell wall. Amoxicillin is effective against many different bacteria including H. influenzae, N. gonorrhoea, E. coli, Pneumococci, Streptococci, and certain strains of Staphylococci.

PREGNANCY: Penicillins are generally considered safe for use by pregnant animals who are not allergic to penicillin.

NURSING MOTHERS: Small amounts of amoxicillin may be excreted in breast milk and may cause diarrhea or allergic responses in nursing infants. Amoxicillin is generally considered safe to use while breastfeeding. Amoxicillin is used to treat infections in the newborn.

Fish Cycline, 250 mg Tetracycline x 100 Capsules,

(pronounced)te/tra/sak/lin

is a broad-spectrum polyketide antibiotic produced by the Streptomyces  genus of Actinobacteria , indicated for use against many bacterial infections. Tetracyn, and Panmycin, among others, Are used in dental applications. It is also used to produce several semi-synthetic derivatives, which together are known as the tetracycline antibiotics.

Pregnancy category of a pharmaceutical agent is an assessment of the risk of fetal injury due to the pharmaceutical, if it is used as directed by the mother during pregnancy. It does not include any risks conferred by pharmaceutical agents or their metabolites that are present in breast milk.

Fish Zole-  Metronidazole - 250 mg

is for the control of some common bacterial diseases. USED FOR GIARDIA INFECTIONS.   ¼ OF A TABLET FOR EVERY 2 LBS OF BODY WEIGHT.Administered once a day.

Metronidazole is an antibiotic effective against anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. Anaerobic bacteria are single-celled, living organisms that thrive in environments in which there is little oxygen (anaerobic environments) and can cause disease in the abdomen (bacterial peritonitis), liver (liver abscess), and pelvis (abscess of the ovaries and the Fallopian tubes).

Giardia lamblia and ameba are intestinal parasites that can cause abdominal pain and diarrhea in infected individuals. Trichomonas is a vaginal parasite that causes inflammation of the vagina vaginitis). Metronidazole selectively blocks some of the functions within the bacterial cells and the parasites resulting in their death.

PREGNANCY: Metronidazole is not used in early pregnancy because of potential adverse effects on the fetus.

NURSING MOTHERS: Metronidazole is excreted in breast milk. Nursing mothers, because of potential adverse effects on the newborn, should not use metronidazole.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

Is used medically for cleaning wounds, removing dead tissue, and as an oral debriding agent. Peroxide stops slow (small vessel) wound bleeding/oozing, as well. Most over-the-counter peroxide solutions are not suitable for ingestion.

3% H2O2 is effective at treating fresh (red) blood-stains in clothing and on other items. It must be applied to clothing before blood stains can be accidentally "set" with heated water. Cold water and soap are then used to remove the peroxide treated blood.

WARNING:

Salicylates have not been shown to cause birth defects in humans. However, studies in animals have shown that salicylates may cause birth defects.

There is a chance that regular use of salicylates late in pregnancy may cause unwanted effects on the heart or blood flow in the fetus or in the newborn.

Use of salicylates during the last 2 weeks of pregnancy may cause bleeding problems in the fetus before or during delivery or in the newborn. Also, too much use of salicylates during the last 3 months of pregnancy may increase the length of pregnancy, prolong labor, cause other problems during delivery, or cause severe bleeding in the mother before, during, or after delivery.
